With their most advanced and dedicated wahine, they’ve performed alongside some of Hawai‘i’s most respected musicians—earning not only standing ovations from audiences but invitations from the artists themselves to join them at other venues beyond Temecula. Rooted in the belief that dance is a sacred link between spirit, culture, and identity, Puahi’s Hālau is devoted to teaching not just the steps of Hawaiian and Tahitian dance, but the stories, values, and soul behind them. This year, Puahi’s proudly presents their Ho‘ike — a vibrant showcase featuring dancers and drummers of all ages and genders — as a heartfelt celebration of Polynesian tradition and the powerful connection between dancer, spirit, and culture.
