A local cat named Butters is close to winning Americas Favorite Pet contest. He needs your vote for the top prize of being featured on the cover of Modern Cat Magazine and $10,000. Every vote for Butters can be a qualified tax deductible donation to PAWS.org to support sick, injured and orphaned animals.

Butters, a flame point Siamese, is described by his owner Robyn Hargrove as charming, playful and fiercely loyal cat, with a protective personality and a strong attachment to his human. Known for his striking blue eyes and distinctive flame-colored coat, the cat has already captured attention in the competition, where public votes help determine which pet advances toward the grand prize.

Butter’s doesn’t know why he’s special but everyone knows why he’s special when they have the pleasure of meeting him. Butters has a soft colored coat, kissed with flames and striking blue Siamese eyes. He’s so handsome that he turns heads but what makes him truly unforgettable is how “ HE LOVES.” Butter’ is very diligent, quiet and intelligent, and very expressive and prideful. He loves to bring his prey in and lay them by the bed whether it’s a mouse, bird or lizard.
